Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification

Job Duties:

  • Troubleshooting drive-ability and electrical problems
  • Engine service to rebuilds
  • Transmission service to overhaul
  • Clutch and automatic transmission diagnosis and overhaul
  • Complete brake service and ABS traction control
  • Alternator and battery diagnosis repair/replacement
  • Exhaust systems: custom, stainless or standard
  • Differential posi/limited slip
  • Vehicle inspections for certification out-of-province
  • Steering, drivetrain, service overhaul
  • Collectibe car restoration
  • Experience working on Jaguar’s, Mercedes-Benz’s, Bentley’s, Morgan’s, Healey’s, Austin’s, MGB’s,
